This is the place I call ‘home’ in the UK, the small town of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire. It may not be a major hub, but it has played its part in history; in the 15th Century the Lancastrian and Yorkist armies fought a battle here that helped the Yorkists eventually re-gain the crown of England. The Abbey is also one of the finest in the country and its tower is considered one of the best examples of Norman architecture.
